Using Hot Potatoes (JCloze)

JCloze is a part of Hot Potatoes. To know what Hot Potatoes is, you can find it here https://hotpot.uvic.ca/

Here are the steps on using JCloze:
1. Click JCloze

2. This is the display of JCloze.

3. Pick one song and put the title and lyrics in the text bar.

It can be either lyrics or reading passage.

4. Choose which words you want to hide by select it, and click ‘Gap’. You can choose as many as you want.

5. You can give clue and alternatives for each answer. If done, click OK.

6. This is what it looks after gapping the words.

7. Don’t forget to save your work.

8. After you finished, click export. You can name it in your own.

9. Click ‘view the exercise in my browser’, and this is how it looks.

10. Done! You finish create one.
