Using Hot Potatoes (JCross)

JCross is a part of Hot Potatoes. To know what Hot Potatoes is, you can find it here https://hotpot.uvic.ca/

Here are the steps on using JCross:
1. Click JCross

2. This is the display of JCross. Give a title (e.g. Countries)

3. Click 'Manage Grid' then click 'Automatic Grid-Maker'

4. Type all answers first. (e.g. I write countries in the world). Then click 'Make the grid'

5. All the answers appear automatically in the grid. Here is the look.

6. After that, click 'Add clues'

                                      

7. Click one of the answer until it becomes grey, and write a clue about that answer, then click OK. Do the same to all the answers.

8. Save your work.

9. Export your work.

10. Click 'view the exercise in my browser'

11. This is the display of what you have made. Click on the number, and the clue will appear.

12. Done!
